Dress A Girl Southwest Missouri (DAGSWMO)
Dress A Girl Southwest Missouri is a volunteer-driven organization with three chapters serving the Southwest Missouri region. Our dedicated volunteers come together regularly to sew dresses, skirts, and shorts for girls in need — both in our local communities and around the world.
Founded on the belief that every girl deserves to feel valued and dignified, our chapters in Cassville, Monett, and Springfield welcome volunteers of all skill levels. Whether you can sew, cut fabric, iron, or simply want to help organize, there is a place for you.
Dress A Girl Around the World
Dress A Girl Around the World is the international organization that inspires and connects chapters like ours across the globe. Their mission is to provide every girl with at least one new dress, promoting dignity, hope, and self-worth. Since its founding, chapters worldwide have sewn and distributed millions of dresses to girls in developing countries.
DAGSWMO operates as a regional chapter under the Dress A Girl Around the World umbrella, following their patterns, guidelines, and distribution networks to ensure our garments reach girls who need them most.
Hope 4 Women International (H4WI)
Hope 4 Women International is the parent organization of Dress A Girl Around the World. H4WI focuses on empowering women and girls through various programs including education, vocational training, and community development. The Dress A Girl program is one of their flagship initiatives, providing tangible support to girls while building communities of volunteers who care.
