Learn about the garments we make, our guidelines, and the patterns we use to bring smiles & dignity to girls and boys around the world.
All garments follow the official Dress A Girl Around the World guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. From Dress a Girl Around the World “We dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress. We want girls to know that they are worthy of respect, and that they are loved by God.”
We make several different styles of dresses, skirts and shorts. Each garment has pockets for the child to put their treasures in.
This classic design is simple to make, beautiful to wear. Uses bias tape for straps and elastic casing.
For older girls, we also create simple skirt with elastic waistbands. These are paired with a coordinating t-shirt.
This design has an elastic neckline and simple puff sleeves. You can create a casing and add elastic or just hem the sleeve.
This is a unique design allowing a little girl to have not one but two dresses in one. One side has a curved neckline while the other side has a V-neck.
This is an awesome way to use "gently used" men's 100% cotton dress shirts and turning them into a dress for a girl. We sew down the placard, leaving the pocket on the dress and adding more.
These shorts are made with love for our boys with a simple elastic waist and deep pockets to hold their treasures. We pair these with a t-shirt to complete their outfit.
